IDX1274 INSOMNIA FOR KIDS (EP)

    "Insomnia for Kids" was written and conceived in the imagination of IDX1274 over several years and finally transposed to sheet music during a long and intense spell of sleepless nights caused by the blazing summer heat in Sacramento, California. From mind's eye to sheet music with no music theory training, the entire piece was composed and then randomly shuffled around again just for added randomness. Only after it was transcribed and shuffled was it ever played, the result is "Insomnia for Kids". This track has been subtitled "The Soundtrack To The Movie Showing On Your Eyelids", One listen and we think you'll know why.

    Obviously inspired by the works of Frank Zappa, The Residents, Edgar Varese, Conlon Nancarrow & Coil to name but a few, this "soundtrack" offers the innocence of a childhood faire tale while at the same time having the ominious undertones of impending doom and severe skulldugery!! Can you hear the ether tanks leaking, or is that your imagination.......??

    The official release of "Insomnia for Kids" is on mp3.com and due to being done via mp3.com there were size limitations on each track uploaded. Well "Insomnia for Kids" in its entirety logs in at 23:21, which is too long, and so it was shortened a few minutes to fit mp3.com limitations.
